I really hope you like cheese ... and carbs. Because this pizza is extreme. Put your bikini bod diet on hold until tomorrow. Today, it's all about this epic comfort food mashup. You only live once, right?
PSA: This would be the perfect way to use up leftover macaroni and cheese. Using leftovers means you have very little work to do in the kitchen to make the pie. Dealing with the pizza dough (we used store-bought) is your only concern. Stretch and roll it as much as you can, then brush olive oil and sprinkle it with garlic powder and Italian seasoning before prebaking. The devil is in the details.
If you don't happen to have extra mac in the fridge, do not fear. The recipe is still super easy if you need to start from scratch because we have a secret to making the boxed kind 1,000 times better. MORE cheese. Adding just a quarter cup each of cheddar and mozzarella makes it taste homemade. (Even though it took you less than 15 minutes.)
Once the crust is baked and slightly golden, it's time to make the cheesy union official. Spread the cooked mac on top of the crust then add more cheese. We've already come this far, don't be shy now. One slice will eliminate any regret. It's too good to feel guilty about.
