Fact: No holiday party is complete without a cheese plate. Come on, you can lure them in with cheesy dips, but it's the cheese board that makes them linger. I always serve mine on my marble slab (I know, so Brooklyn), with an assortment of meats, cheese, and fruit, but this year, I'm feeling particularly festive, so I'll be serving it in the shape of a wreath.

The thing I love most about this wreath? It's made of rosemary (and lends a slight scent to everything in a GREAT way) and it takes 3 minutes to pull together. Find the most shallow plate or serving platter you have (a lip is going to make your life pretty difficult as those rosemary sprigs lose their balance) and start placing the rosemary around in a wreath, securing them on top of each other. Once the wreath is in place, it's time to assemble.

Whenever I pick my ingredients for a cheese plate, I basically always have a cheddar—white or yellow, everyone loves it—a blue, a hard salty cheese like pecorino, and a soft cheese like goat or brie. Cheese loves meat, so always make sure to have a selection of salami and prosciutto. Accoutrements like grapes and olives make it classy. Once all of those are in place, make a second rosemary wreath to separate bread and crackers from the fun stuff. And that's it! Cheese, please!
