In the realm of healthy eating, there's a lot Delish will justify away. Sure, that entree is loaded with cheese and bacon, but it's made with cauliflower instead of pasta or potatoes! Or hey, that Chili's salad is a salad, so it's basically diet food...even if it's topped with an entire cheese quesadilla in place of croutons.
These Apple Samoa Bites fall into that healthy-ish (with strong emphasis on the 'ish') category. But the big thing is, they're irresistibly delish—and they're a no-bake treat you can bring at parties, or just whip up on a Wednesday night when it's been a soul-sucking day and all you want is to satisfy your sugar cravings without succumbing to the overwhelming urge to down an entire cake, Bruce Bogtrotter-style.
The process is basically as easy as it gets. Combine caramel sauce with unsweetened flaked coconut or shaved coconut—you can make your own caramel, if you're feeling really ambitious, but the jarred stuff is totally fine here—slather it on sliced, cored apples, and drizzle with melted chocolate. Absorb endless comments about your creativity and genius, as people lose their minds over why they, too, haven't thought of giving an apple the Girl Scout cookie treatment.
After all, it's going to be a long winter before those scouts start going door-to-door again. You'll need some kind of treat to get you through it.
