When you're trying to eat healthy, a spiralizer is your best friend. It transforms zucchini, carrots, and even beets into beautiful colorful noodle-looking spirals to make you forget your eating vegetables. But the zoodle tool isn't restricted to a virtuous diet. We discovered its best talent: making curly fries.

Yep, we scandalized zoodles. (Sorry, not sorry.) We fried them to crispy oblivion (after tossing them with flour to ensure crispness). I'm no nutritionist, but my instincts say that even though there is zucchini involved, this is not guilt-free fare. To that realization, I say "WHATEVER." I don't feel an ounce of guilt. Grab a scoop of the crunchy spirals, and you won't care either. They're that good.

Confession: I tried and failed to make a healthier baked version of these fries. What came out of the oven was an eggy, soggy, mushy mess. If you have a good baked zucchini fry recipe, please let me know. In the meantime, I'll be happily noshing on these fried guys.

As far as condiments go, you could treat the curly fries like their potato rivals. But because Italian seasoning and Parmesan are involved, you want marinara. You won't miss the ketchup.
