If we know one thing at Delish, it's that Jell-O shots can be classy AF. I might have made green and yellow Dixie Cup ones in my school colors (go Ducks!) for college football tailgating, but I've grown up a lot in eight years. Now when I make Jell-O shots for friends, I'm turning fruit into the vessel, whether that means hollowing out strawberries for daiquiri shots or scooping out watermelon to turn the whole rind into a Jell-O shot.

If you want all your friends to obsess over you all summer, all you need to do is make this jumbo-sized watermelon. It takes time to set in the fridge, but otherwise it's so simple to make. For anyone who has not made Jell-O before, this is a great introduction. (Because, really, you should only eat it when spiked with a lot of booze.)

All you do is dissolve watermelon Jell-O (we used Jolly Rancher brand) and gelatin in boiling water, then add vodka and pour mixture into hollowed watermelon rinds. Let those chill until firm, 4 to 5 hours to be safe, and then slice. This is when the magic happens, so be sure to slice it up in front of your friends.
