These rainbow boozy slushies are the grown-up drinks of your favorite childhood candy: Skittles. Little 10-year old you loved Skittles; adult you will love Skittle vodka slushies.

Infusing vodka with skittles is wonderfully easy. The hardest part, which is also kinda fun, is sorting out the Skittle colors. Once the rainbow you have your R,O,Y,G, P organized (sorry, blue), it's only a matter letting the candies sit in the alcohol overnight. The next day, you'll have a rainbow of mason jars filled with alcohol that tastes like the fruity candies you love so much.

One word of warning: Do not use cheap vodka! Or at least don't use the cheapest plastic bottle possible. I experimented with candy-infused vodka in college and learned that no amount of Jolly Ranchers could make an $8 handle not taste like nail polish remover. This time around I went with Skittles, but I imagine the same learning applies here. (Even though Skittles are obviously better than Jolly Ranchers.)

Once your alcohol is bright and beautiful, take shots of your favorite Skittle flavor. Or do the sophisticated adult thing and turn it into a slushy!
