We've been on a chicken kick at Delish. Italian lemon, Cajun-stuffed, tequila-lime—our love for the bird knows no bounds. However, we were really craving some BEEF this week, enter this Korean BBQ beef bowls. However, grilling on a weeknight might seem ambitious, but you can definitely make it happen. The marinade in this recipe is super flavorful (soy sauce, we love you), but you don't need to have the steak sit in it for forever. All you need is 10 minutes.

To achieve the sweet, savory and tart flavor combination we love about Korean BBQ, we took inspiration from Judy Kim's Korean BBQ Rice Bowls. And by inspiration, I mean that we basically used her marinade recipe but swapped skirt steak for sirloin. Because it's finally sunny outside and we're craving everything charred and smoky, we used a grill pan instead of the broiler, too. The results are crazy delicious.

The steak is delicious on it's own and would probably taste amazing in tacos or a sandwich. But you should really serve it over rice with crisp pickled vegetables and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Don't worry—pickling the cukes and carrots is quick and easy, too.
