You know chicken tenders are a weeknight staple, but sometimes they can just be boring. When you're feeling like you need to shake up your recipes and try something new, we implore you to make this truly addictive Crack Chicken. We call it Crack Chicken for good reason: When we ate this in the Delish kitchen, there were feelings of happiness—and then a rabid need to eat more as if the chicken was a drug.
You can thank the crunchy panko coating and tasty sauce for the chicken's addictive side. And it's baked, so it's actually healthy. All you do is dredge chicken tenders (this recipe works equally well with breasts, so it's really your preference) in flour, egg, and panko seasoned with salt and pepper and bake until cooked through and crispy.
Its crispy texture is only half the reason we're obsessed. Wait until you try the sauce. A few minutes before the chicken's done in the oven, warm barbecue sauce, lime juice, and garlic powder in a saucepan until it thickens. When the breaded chicken comes out of the oven, you toss the tenders in the sauce until fully coated. Eat them like this (they're incredible) or dunk in ranch—whatever's more addicting for ya.
