To some, cookies are a treat-yourself food, a reward you get every once in a while. At Delish, we believe in treating 'yoself every damn day, which means finding ways to bring cookies into our life more often. But even we're not feasting on classic chocolate chip cookies all the time (pshhh, we get way more creative than that).

As believers that cookie dough might be better than cookies themselves, we wondered what would happen if we started with a cream cheese base and omitted the flour entirely, turning it into a creamier—and dreamier!—version of itself. The magical result is a perfect dessert dip for a party.

The dip takes only a few minutes to whip up, and you likely have most of the ingredients already: cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and mini chocolate chips. Blend them together as much as possible; you can whisk by hand if you want an arm workout or opt for a hand mixer to save some time (and sweat).

Hardest decision is to pick your dipper. We went with pretzel crisps because we're salt fiends, but Nilla Wafers or potato chips would taste awesome with this, too, though. Eat up!
