Cosmic Cupcakes are a close cousin of its predecessor, Cosmic Brownies—dense, fudgy brownies topped with icing and psychadelic rainbow candy-coated chocolate chips. Basically, it was all of the joy of a roller rink and your birthday, plastic-wrapped and sold by the half-dozen.
The cupcake variety features the same ganache-like frosting and brightly colored chocolate-chip candies, along with a hidden bonus: a creme filling.
