When your fridge is barren but your bar is stocked, bake this super-easy dump cake will make for adynamite dessert.

Directions

1. Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Step 2Grease (with butter or oil) a 9x9 square cake pan (see note).
3. Step 3Dump cherries into a bowl and mix with whiskey.
4. Step 4Pour cherry mixture into baking dish.
5. Step 5Spoon cake mix over cherry mixture.
6. Step 6Drizzle butter over cake mix as evenly as you can.
7. Step 7Top with chocolate chips.
8. Step 8Bake for 15 minutes.
9. Step 9Serve with ice cream.
