In this genius recipe, avocado triumphantly takes the place of cream and eggs, and we promise you won't miss them. Taste testers were absolutely blown away by Tropical Avocado Ice Cream, and even argued that it might trump the regular stuff. It's refreshing, but still super flavorful and fatty (the good kind)!
We teamed up with the editors at Sweet to create this delicious confection. Creamy coconut and tangy lime are the main flavors, but you also get undertones of vanilla and maple syrup. Avocado, interestingly, is there more for texture rather than taste! Another surprise? It's completely vegan. Don't let that freak you out, though! We've gone vegan before, and we loved it.
The best part is that it couldn't be simpler or more straightforward to make. Besides freezing, your ice cream comes together in under 5 minutes. All you have to do is add all ingredients to a blender, blend until smooth, pour into a loaf pan, and freeze. A few hours later, your dreamy ice cream is ready to be devoured!
