Ingredients
For Bloody Mary
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 8 oz. vodka
- 1/4 cup pickle juice
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. horseradish
- 2 tsp. hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon, plus wedge for rimming
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. kosher salt
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
For garnish
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- vegetable oil
- 2 slices cheddar, quartered
- pickle chips
- cherry tomatoes
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 350° and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large pitcher, combine tomato juice, vodka, pickle juice, Worcestershire, horseradish, hot sauce, lemon juice, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Step 2On a small plate, stir together salt and sesame seeds. Run a lemon wedge around the rim of glasses and dip them in the salt mixture.
- Step 3Make the buns: Cut biscuits into quarters and roll into balls. Place onto baking sheet and brush each bun with melted butter. Bake until golden, 10 minutes.
- Step 4Make the burgers: Season ground beef with salt and pepper and form into small patties. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat vegetable oil. Add the beef patties and cook for about 3 minutes, until the bottoms develop a nice seared crust. Flip and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes, then add the cheese slices to the tops of the patties. Cover pan with a large lid and cook until cheese melts.
- Step 5Build skewer: first, add cherry tomato to skewer, then bottom bun, then burger, then pickle chips then top bun. Place in drink and serve.
