Ingredients
- 3 lb. chicken drumsticks
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot)
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Ranch, for serving
- Carrot sticks, for serving
- celery sticks, for serving
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 400°. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Pat drumsticks dry.
- Step 2 In a large bowl, toss together drumsticks with vegetable oil, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Place chicken onto wire rack and bake until crispy and cooked through, 50-55 minutes. Remove from oven and preheat broiler.
- Step 3Meanwhile, mix together hot sauce and butter. Toss wings in sauce until coated, then transfer back onto baking sheet. Broil until crispy and golden, about 2 minutes more.
- Step 4Serve with ranch, carrots, and celery.
