Ingredients

  • 6 Twinkies
  • 3 oreos
  • 1 tub vanilla frosting
  • Black food coloring
  • Fruit roll-ups
  • 12 Mini chocolate chips
  • Black icing
  • 2/3 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 6 popsicle sticks

Directions

    1. Step 1Slice off one rounded end of Twinkies.
    2. Step 2Remove cream from Oreos. Slice the cookies in half. These will be your fins.
    3. Step 3Using a paring knife, cut a slit in the center of the Twinkie. Stick "fin" into the cut. Place cut side down on a baking sheet fitted with a cooling rack.
    4. Step 4Microwave frosting on high for 1 minute. Mix in a couple drops black food coloring until your desired color is reached. Pour frosting over Twinkies and refrigerate, 10 minutes.
    5. Step 5Cut 6 oblong pointed ovals about 3" long from the fruit roll-ups. These will be your mouths. Wet one side and place it on each of the sharks.
    6. Step 6Place two mini chocolate chips as eyes on the shark. Using the black icing, draw gills on either side of the shark. Place whipped topping in a piping bag. Using a very small piping tip (or cutting a very small whole from the tip of the bag), pipe teeth on the fruit roll-up mouth. Insert popsicle sticks into the cut side. Serve.
