We're big fans of classic bruschetta, but when we're craving a sweet twist on the classic summer appetizer, we turn to this strawberry-balsamic version. Baguette slices are toasted in the oven until nice and crispy before being topped with a ricotta spread, sweet strawberries, basil, and a balsamic glaze. The result is a sweet-tangy bite that works just as well as a starter as a post-dinner treat.
You can definitely use store-bought balsamic glaze in this recipe, but if you feel like going the extra mile, why not try your hand at making it homemade? Follow the step-by-step guide for how to make balsamic glaze in our caprese bites if you want to get extra fancy.
