Ingredients
- 1 lb.
ground beef
- 1/4 cup
bread crumbs
- 1
large egg
- 1 Tbsp.
yellow mustard
- 1 Tbsp.
ketchup
- 1/4 tsp.
garlic powder
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Vegetable oil
- 3
slices cheddar, quartered
- 1
jar pickle chips
Lettuce
Sliced tomato
Directions
- Step 1Make the patties: In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, mustard, ketchup, and garlic powder together with a wooden spoon. Season with salt and pepper and stir gently to combine. Form the mixture into small patties.
- Step 2In a large skillet over medium heat, heat vegetable oil. Add the beef patties and cook for about 3 minutes, until the bottoms develop a nice seared crust. Flip and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes, then add the cheese slices to the tops of the patties. Cover the pan with a large lid and cook until cheese melts.
- Step 3Assemble the sliders: Place 10 pickle chips (or however many patties you have cooked) on a serving platter. Top each pickle with lettuce, tomato, and a cooked patty. Top with another pickle chip and serve immediately.
