Ingredients
- 1 20-oz bag frozen french fries
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 lb. cheddar slices
- 4 large flour tortillas, warmed
- 1 cup Shredded lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
Directions
- Step 1Bake french fries according to package instructions.
- Step 2Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, heat vegetable oil. Add onion and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in ground beef and cook until no longer pink in the middle, about 5 minutes. Drain fat.
- Step 3Add garlic powder, ketchup and yellow mustard to the meat mixture, then season with salt and pepper. Top meat mixture with cheese, cover the skillet with a tight-fitting lid, and cook until the cheese has melted, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Step 4Assemble burgerritos: Lay a tortilla on a serving plate. Add a scoopful of the cheesy meat mixture. Top with shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and baked french fries. Roll the burrito tightly and repeat with remaining french fries. Serve warm with leftover french fries.
