French dip fans—get ready to meet your new favorite game day appetizer. I took all the best parts of the classic sandwich—melty provolone cheesy, flavorful roast beef, caramelized onions and the jus (of course)—and incorporated them into slider form, so everyone at your Super Bowl bash can have a taste. Plus, these sliders are quick and easy to make (ready in under an hour!), so whether you're looking for a way to feed your fam in a pinch or need a last-minute Super Bowl appetizer, these cheesy, extra-flavorful sliders are the way to go. Here's everything you need to know:

First, preheat the oven to 350°. Then, we’ll make our quick caramelized onions. Melt butter in a skillet, then add the sliced onion and thyme sprigs before seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook the onions, stirring occasionally, until they’re caramelized. This should take around 30 to 40 minutes, but be careful not to overdo it—the onions will continue to cook in the oven. Once done, discard the thyme.
Slice your sliders in half, and place the bottom halves of the buns on a large baking sheet. Then, assemble your sliders by layering on the roast beef, cheese, and caramelized onions. Close with the top buns, then brush on melted butter. Sprinkle with parsley, garlic powder, and a bit of salt, then add to the oven.
While the sliders are cooking, we can make the jus. In the same skillet we cooked the onions, melt the remaining butter before adding the garlic. Cook until fragrant, then add the broth, Worcestershire, and chopped thyme—season with salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to the simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until it has slightly reduced. This should take around 10 minutes, but if you prefer it thicker, you can keep it going.
Bake your sliders until they are warmed through and the cheese is melty and delicious—this should take around 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with more parsley on top if you desire, along with the jus.

These sliders would be an excellent filling addition to your game day appetizer spread, but if you'd prefer for the sliders to be the star of the show, serve these alongside roasted potatoes, sweet potato chips or coleslaw.
