Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 finely chopped onion (small to medium size)
  • 1 finely chopped jalapeño
  • 2 cans great northern beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 2 cans baked beans, any variety
  • 1 1/4 cups Coca-Cola®
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions

    1. Step 1In a skillet, crisp bacon with chopped onion, and jalapeños.
    2. Step 2Once bacon is cooked, add into slow cooker with beans, Coca-Cola®, BBQ sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, and dry mustard. Stir together and cook on high until bubbling, then switch to low setting until thick, about 2 to 4 hours. (Can also be baked in oven until thick and bubbly.)
