Ingredients
- 1/2 cup each: raw unsalted walnuts, pecans, cashews and almonds
- 1 cup unsalted roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup Coca-Cola®
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix together nuts in a bowl and set aside.
- Step 2In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together all other ingredients. Once butter is melted and liquid is slightly reduced, about 3 minutes, pour over nuts and stir until well coated.
- Step 3Lightly spray parchment-covered sheet tray with cooking spray and spread out nuts evenly. Bake until caramelized, toasted, and crunchy. Stir nuts once during cooking and keep a close eye on them so that they don’t burn, about 10 to 15 minutes. Remove immediately to a bowl so they don’t harden on the sheet pan.
