Chocolate Truffle Cupcakes

Ingredients
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups chocolate chips, melted
- 2 boxes chocolate cake mix
- 2/3 cup melted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp. teaspoons vanilla
- Powdered sugar, for serving
Directions
- Step 1Make fudge centers. Whisk together the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk until evenly combined. It will become hard to stir. Scoop small balls and place on a parchment-lined pan. Transfer pan to the freezer and freeze until the fudge is hard, about 1 hour.
- Step 2Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin and set aside.
- Step 3Beat together the cake mix, butter, eggs and vanilla until completely combined. The batter will be very thick. Spoon a thin layer of the the batter into the bottom of each muffin cup. Add the frozen fudge balls. Cover the fudge centers with another layer of batter. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Remove and allow to cool slightly before removing from tins.
- Step 4Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy warm!
