Ingredients

refrigerated pie crust (or homemade pie dough)
- 6
large eggs
- 3/4 cup
heavy cream
- 6
slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup
shredded Gruyère cheese
- 1 tsp.
thyme leaves
Kosher salt
Pinch cayenne
Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp.
freshly chopped parsley
Directions
- Step 1Heat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream and eggs. Stir in bacon, cheese, and thyme. Season with cayenne, salt and pepper.
- Step 2Pour egg mixture into pie crust and bake 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Step 3Let cool 5 to 10 minutes and garnish with parsley before serving.
