Not into walnuts? Skip that ingredient and add two tablespoons of flour instead (to keep the dough from getting too runny). You'll love this recipe just as much.

Ingredients
- 1 cup
(2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 cup
packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup
granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp.
pure vanilla extract
- 2
large eggs, room temperature
- 2 1/2 cups
all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp.
baking soda
- 1 tsp.
kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp.
ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup
quick-cooking oats
- 2 1/2 cups
semisweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup
chopped walnuts
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 350°. Line two baking sheets with parchment. In a large mixing bowl using a hand mixer, cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Slowly mix in eggs, beating until mixture is smooth.
- Step 2In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually stir dries into the butter-sugar mixture, then fold in oats, chocolate chips, and walnuts.
- Step 3Use a large cookie scoop to place balls of dough about 2" apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake until edges are lightly golden but center of cookie is still a bit soft, 17 to 19 minutes.
