Frozen fish can be a weeknight savior—and winner, when you turn it into tacos.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Trader Joe's Frozen Cod
  • 1/4 head cabbage, thinly sliced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • kosher salt
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup Trader Joe's Salsa Verde
  • Fresh cilantro, for serving

Directions

    1. Step 1Prepare Trader Joe's Frozen Cod fillets according to package directions. Let cool slightly, then flake into pieces.
    2. Step 2Meanwhile, make tacos: In a large bowl, toss cabbage with lime juice and season with salt.
    3. Step 3Over the flame of a gas burner, carefully toast tortillas one by one, flipping with tongs, 15 seconds per side.
    4. Step 4Assemble tacos: Top charred tortillas with cabbage, fish, tomatoes, Trader Joe's Salsa Verde, and cilantro.
