Birthday cake-flavored anything gets a yes from me, but this popcorn might just be the ultimate birthday party snack. While i'm all about salty snacks, sweet popcorn has a special place in my heart. This popcorn gets a sweet upgrade from melted white chocolate, cake mix, and plenty of sprinkles. What does that mean, you may ask? White chocolate chips are melted down with vegetable oil, then mixed with your choice of Funfetti or vanilla cake mix. Once the popcorn is coated in the mix, sprinkles are added for that perfect birthday touch (and texture). Don't be shy with the sprinkles here—the more the merrier!
The hardest part about making this popcorn? You need to let it chill in the fridge for at least 20-25 minutes before serving so that the white chocolate-cake mix mixture can fully set on the popcorn. While you're waiting, snack on some Funfetti dip for a pre-popcorn treat. 😉
