Cinnamon Bun Popcorn

Forget caramel corn—cinnamon bun popcorn is the sweet snack you need. This classic movie snack gets an extra sweet upgrade with the addition of a brown sugar and cinnamon mixture and a simple powdered sugar glaze. I'm all about savory popcorn (taco night popcorn or sushi popcorn, anyone?), but when I'm looking for a sugary sweet treat, this popcorn hits all the right notes.
The trick to getting your seasoning to stick? Adding melted butter along with your seasoning ensures that it has something to stick to on the popcorn's surface—don't skip this step! You can also use oil in most savory recipes, but butter works perfectly here with our cinnamon and brown sugar. The powdered sugar glaze is the perfect finishing touch on this popcorn, but if you're looking for something a little less sweet, you can skip it.
