Maple Bacon Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup milk or water
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- kosher salt
- 1/4 cup maple syrup, plus more for drizzling
Directions
- Step 1In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp, 6 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and let cool, then crumble.
- Step 2In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring milk to a boil. Stir in oats and salt, reduce heat to low, and simmer until oats are tender and creamy, 5 minutes.
- Step 3Add maple syrup and stir together until warm.
- Step 4Serve oatmeal topped with crumbled bacon and drizzled with maple syrup.
