Slow-Cooker General Tso Chicken Wings

Turn the Chinese takeout favorite into a chicken wing and you'll regret NOTHING. Don't skip the sesame seeds; you want that crunch.

Ingredients
- 2 lb.
chicken wings
- 1/4 cup
low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup
brown sugar
- 3
cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp.
ground ginger
- 1 tsp.
cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp.
Freshly ground black pepper
kosher salt
- 1 Tbsp.
cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp.
sesame seeds, for serving
Directions
- Step 1Place chicken wings in a large slow-cooker.
- Step 2In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Season with salt, then add cornstarch and stir until mixed. Pour over chicken and toss to combine.
- Step 3Cover and cook on high until cooked through, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
- Step 4Heat broiler. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and pour wings onto them. Broil until crispy, 5 minutes.
- Step 5Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
