Slow-Cooker Barbecue-Bourbon Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 2 lb.
chicken wings
- 1 cup
barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade), plus more for serving
- 2 Tbsp.
bourbon
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Step 1Place chicken wings in a large slow-cooker.
- Step 2In a large bowl, mix together barbecue sauce and bourbon and season with salt and pepper. Pour mixture over chicken wings and stir to coat.
- Step 3Cover and cook on high until cooked through, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
- Step 4Heat broiler. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and pour wings onto them. Broil until crispy, 5 minutes.
- Step 5Serve with barbecue sauce.
