Bacon-Tater Tot Kebabs Recipe

Though many people say you don't need to soak wooden skewers before cooking or grilling with them, we tend to play it safe and soak them in water for 20 minutes before adding on the tots and bacon.

Ingredients
- 1 package bacon
- 1/2 bag Tater tots
- 1 container Sour cream (optional)
Directions
- Step 1Preheat the oven to 375°.
- Step 2As the oven heats, cut the slices of bacon down the middle, so they're only half as long. Thread one strip of bacon on each skewer, alternating the bacon with tater tots: Skewer one end of the strip of bacon, add a tot, then flip the bacon over the tot, pushing it down the skewer. Repeat until you have a swirling bacon-and-tot kebab that kind of reminds you of a unicorn pop.
- Step 3Place each skewer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the bacon has turned a deep pink and the fat is no longer opaque.
- Step 4Serve with sour cream, ranch dip, or queso for dipping.
