Tex-Mex Double Beef Burger

This burger is double the beef and all Tex-Mex.

Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- kosher salt
- Black pepper
- 8 slices extra-sharp Cheddar
- 4 Kaiser buns
- Pickled Jalapeños, for serving
- Pico de gallo, for serving
- Guacamole, for serving
Directions
- Step 1Shape ground chuck into 8 patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 2Grill, covered, over medium-high heat until desired degree of doneness, 2 to 3 minutes per side for medium. Top patties with Cheddar and grill, covered, until melted, 1 to 2 minutes. Stack 2 burgers.
- Step 3Serve on 4 grilled Kaiser buns with jalapeños, pico de gallo, and guacamole.
