Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix
- 1 roll refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- Cooking spray
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Rainbow sprinkles, for rolling
Directions
- Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Step 2Coat two 8- by 8-inch baking pans with cooking spray. Press cookie dough into one 8- by 8-inch baking pan so that it covers the entire surface. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees F, or until edges are slightly browned and a toothpick inserted into the center of the pan comes out clean.
- Step 3Bake brownie mix in the second 8- by 8-inch baking pan according to package instructions.
- Step 4Let both cookies and brownies cool. Scoop 5 tablespoons of each into a large bowl. Mash the baked brownie and cookie together to combine, then roll into 1-tablespoon-sized balls.
- Step 5Refrigerate the truffles for 30 minutes.
- Step 6Prepare a cookie sheet by lining with parchment or wax paper; set aside.
- Step 7Melt 1 cup white chocolate chips in the microwave—heat chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until it is completely melted and smooth.
- Step 8Dip each truffle ball into the white chocolate to coat, roll in sprinkles (if desired), and then place truffle carefully onto the prepared cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining truffles. Let set at room temperature until chocolate is hardened (or move the pan to the refrigerator for another 30 minutes to set).
