The mojito is a classic cocktail for a reason. The fresh mint and bright lime juice combine to make a one of our favorite drinks. However that doesn't mean it can't be improved.
We think that this variation, with a bit of crushed, rip blackberries give the standard mojito a tart-sweet kick. It also looks absolutely gorgeous. Ingredients
- 1/2 cup
blackberries
handful fresh mint leaves
Juice of 2 limes
- 1 tsp.
sugar
- 1/2 cup
light rum
Crushed ice
club soda
Directions
- Step 1In a small bowl, muddle blackberries. Set aside.
- Step 2 Place mint leaves in bottom of glasses. Divide and spoon blackberry mixture on top.
- Step 3Add rum, sugar, and lime juice and stir to combine. Top with crushed ice.
- Step 4Add club soda and garnish with mint leaves and more blackberries.
