Ingredients: 3/4 stick butter; 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate; 2 large eggs; 1/2 c. granulated sugar; c. packed light-brown sugar; 2 tbsp. light corn syrup; 1 tsp. vanilla extract; 1/4 tsp. salt; c. all-purpose flour; 1/2 c. coarsely chopped salted roasted peanuts; 1 Snickers bar

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Meanwhile, butter an 8-inch square baking pan, then line with parchment, leaving a 2-inch overhang on 2 sides. Grease the paper lining the bottom of the pan with butter.

Step 2In a heatproof bowl set over (not in) a pan of simmering water, over medium heat, add chocolate and butter. Stir to melt. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Step 3In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugars, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt to combine. Stir in flour and reserved chocolate mixture. Fold in the nuts and candy bar. Pour batter into the pan using a rubber spatula. Bake until brownies are set around the edges and a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out dry with some moist crumbs attached, about 40 minutes. Remove pan from oven and let brownies cool in the pan.

Step 4To serve, use the parchment overhang to lift the brownies from the pan, then cut into 12 pieces.
