Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Step 1Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Step 2In a medium bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt to combine.
- Step 3In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on medium to beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and extract until well combined. Reduce speed to low and beat in flour mixture until just blended; stir in chocolate chips.
- Step 4Drop 2-tablespoon mounds of dough 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Press into 2-inch-diameter circles with your hand. Bake until cookies are golden around the edges, about 10 minutes. Let cookies stand 2 to 3 minutes on baking sheet, then transfer with a spatula to a wire rack to cool completely.
