Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese
- 1 small heirloom tomato
- 1 jalapeño
- 1/2 tsp. sriracha
- 1/4 cup coarsely chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup red onion
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- kosher salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- 4 slice bakery whole-wheat bread
Directions
- Step 1Preheat the broiler with the rack 6 inches from the heat. In a bowl, mix all of the ingredients except the salt, pepper, and toast; season with salt and pepper. Spread the cheese mixture onto the toasts and arrange on a baking sheet. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes, until the cheese melts. Serve with Sriracha.
