Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 3/4 lb. baby carrots
- 2 tsp. finely grated orange rind
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped roasted hazelnuts
Directions
- Step 1Melt butter in large frying pan; cook carrots, turning occasionally, until almost tender.
- Step 2Add rind, juice, wine, and syrup; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until liquid has almost evaporated and carrots are tender and caramelized.
- Step 3Serve carrots sprinkled with nuts.
