Ingredients
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- cup prepared tomato pasta sauce
- 2 cups coarsely grated pizza cheese
- 3 1/2 oz. sliced ham
- cup coarsely chopped drained canned pineapple pieces
- 2 tsp. dried yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
Directions
- Step 1Make pizza dough. Combine yeast, sugar, salt and the warm water in small bowl, cover; stand in warm place about 20 minutes or until mixture is frothy. Combine flour and oil in large bowl; stir in yeast mixture, mix to a soft dough. Knead dough on floured surface about 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place dough in large oiled bowl, cover; stand in warm place about 1 hour or until dough doubles in size. Turn dough onto floured surface; knead until smooth. Divide dough in half; using rolling pin, flatten dough and roll each half out to a 12-inch round.
- Step 2Preheat oven to 500 degrees F/450 degrees F fan-forced.
- Step 3Carefully lift each dough round onto oiled pizza pans or oven trays; using a pastry brush, brush oil over pizza crust. Spoon tomato pasta sauce on crusts, using back of large spoon to spread sauce all over base.
- Step 4Sprinkle half of the cheese over sauce, then top with ham and pineapple. Sprinkle remaining cheese over pizzas.
- Step 5Bake pizzas, uncovered, 20 minutes. Serve cut into slices.
