Gnocchi are feathery little potato dumplings that are a tasty alternative to traditional pasta. If you can't find them at your local store, swap in short tube pasta, or skip the noodles altogether and serve the Swiss chard as a side dish with your favorite protein.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. gnocchi
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 small onion
- 4 clove garlic
- 1 bunch Swiss chard
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
Directions
- Step 1Cook the gnocchi according to package directions.
- Step 2Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, until golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Step 3Add the Swiss chard, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper, and cook, tossing occasionally, until tender, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Step 4Toss the gnocchi with the chard mixture and sprinkle with the Parmesan.
