Ingredients
- 1 fresh farm egg
- 2 tsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 twist fresh black pepper
- 2 tsp. finely grated Parmesan
Directions
- Step 1Place a small 6 inch non stick pan on a burner set at the lowest heat. Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk for 10 seconds.
- Step 2After the pan has set on the low setting for 2 minutes add the butter and coat the bottom of the pan, then pour in the whisked egg.
- Step 3Do not disturb. Once the bottom of the egg starts to cook, add the salt, pepper, and Parmesan.
- Step 4When the egg is cooked about 75 percent of the way gently roll the omelet up using plastic spatula, the egg should still be slightly runny inside. Just enough to give the omelet a silky texture.
