There are many shining stars in the summer produce hall of fame, but in my book, in-season peaches will always reign supreme. There’s no feeling that quite encapsulates summer for me than biting into a sweet and juicy peach (standing over the sink to prevent a sticky mess, of course). Although a peach on its own is a beautiful thing, I love to maximize the fruit’s potential when they are at their peak. Enter: These 12 recipes that celebrate the best of what peaches have to offer.

Desserts like cobblers and crisps are no-brainers, but peaches are also incredible in savory dishes too. Summer salads, fresh fruit salsa, and even a twist on classic bruschetta are all genius ways to let the fruit's sweet flavor shine. If you need some ideas for how to use up the rest of that bundle of peaches you bought, then turn to these sides, apps, and desserts all season long.

Obviously you can bake with them, but peaches are also great in savory dishes, like in our peach balsamic chicken and as a salsa with pork tacos. Whether we're using the fruit in sweet or savory recipes, one of our favorite ways to amplify (and enjoy) a peach's natural flavor is to grill it.

This take on peach melba continues the tradition of pairing peaches with a fresh tart-and-sweet raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream. To make this dish, poach the peaches, blend the raspberry sauce, and combine with some ice cream. Easy peasy!

A panzanella salad is easily the most underrated summer side. To celebrate the best of what summer has to offer, I developed this stone fruit-forward version. It’s the kind of dish you can make on a blazing hot summer night without breaking a sweat and still feel full and satisfied by the time you clean your plate.

We changed up the classic Caprese salad by switching out juicy tomatoes for plump summer peaches and replacing sliced fresh mozzarella with its creamier cousin, burrata. Surrounded by fragrant basil then topped with candied pecans and a drizzle of spicy honey, this sweet & savory salad is a STUNNER.

TJ’s Copycat Peach Salsa

It turns out a homemade version of Trader Joe's famous peach salsa is too easy to make, and is even better (!!) than the jarred version. The spicy smoky adobo sauce is balanced out by the sweet juicy peaches; serve this alongside a classic salsa and guacamole for a perfect warm-weather appetizer.
