Truth be told, it's more than likely we probably (definitely, for sure) got all our snacking skills from our dads. This Father's Day, why not honor the Snack King himself with a spread of all of his favorite appetizers? No matter if you're planning a low-key hang with a couple of brewskis (we've got just the nachos recipe for that), or a full-on bash celebrating dad (like our fancied-up spicy apricot wings), these 25 Father's Day appetizer recipes will make sure he feels all the love this year.

Appetizers might as well be an entire food group for Team Delish, and that's absolutely the case with all the Delish Dads out there. So if you're planning a relaxed, low-key day of celebrating dad, it doesn't get any better than setting out a bunch of hearty apps instead of planning a huge, elaborate meal. Chances are, your dad would much prefer a plate of meatball sub bites, a blooming quesadilla ring, or Nashville hot chicken dip over some fussy dinner reservation.

Father's Day is often the best day to really bust out the grill for the season. While you wait for the grill to get heated up, don't miss the opportunity for some all-star snacking opportunities. We like to set out all of dad's (and our) favorite dips, like guacamole, pico de gallo, and caramelized onion dip. If you've got burgers and hot dogs on the menu, our fry board hack and fried pickles are two things dad is going to ask you to make him the rest of the year, so be warned!

You might think that we're using taco seasoning here, but the secret ingredient is even better—crushed Doritos. The Doritos not only give heaps of flavor to the buttered popcorn, but also add a welcome slightly crunchy texture.
