Cotton Candy Shots

Fun fact: Tonic water casts a flourescent-green glow under a black light, and you can add it to all kinds of foods and drinks to make them eerily luminescent, too. We could've just mixed tonic water and vodka, poured it into shot glasses and called it a day, but where's the fun in that?

This shot's topped with store-bought cotton candy (which glows on its own under a black light). You can either dip the cotton candy into the drink before knocking it back—the candy will dissolve as soon as the liquid hits it—or let the vodka-tonic seep through the cotton candy as you slam it. It'll get the party started faster than cranking a throwback Biggie-vs-Tupac playlist.

Dipping chilled, frosted cupcakes into a Jell-o-tonic water glaze makes these treats light up a platter. You could swirl the frosting higher and dab on two chocolate eyes for some truly haunting ghost cupcakes to serve on Halloween—or leave them as-is for an eye-catching dessert to bring to a glow party (because even glow parties need food, obvs).

This drink will truly mess with your head—and that's even before the alcohol hits your bloodstream. When the lights are on, the grenadine makes this cocktail a bright pinkish orange. When they're off, the drink glows white. Trippy.

White chocolate casts a soft glow on its own under a black light, but we gave it some extra oomph by mixing the melted chocolate with a little tonic water before dipping Oreos in the mixture, then pressing a plastic spider on each one. (Psst...you may want to remind people to peel off the spider before eating, because they may get so psyched they inhale the whole pop without thinking.)

When Beyoncé famously quoth, "I don't think you're ready for this jelly," we know she meant her bootylicious-ness, but the statement also applies to these Jell-o shots. They jiggle! They're boozy! They light your path in a dark, moody party! Basically, they're game-changing.
