A perfect Halloween (or Christmas, depending on which side of the debate you fall on) dessert, this fudge captures the essence of both holidays, just like the movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Sally Skellington comes to life in the form of this sweet, chocolatey, rich confection intermingled with multicolor to represent her iconic dress.
My Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired fudge comes together with just 6 ingredients. Although the marshmallow creme adds an extra amount of decadence, it can be omitted for people with egg allergies. Depending on if you are having a large gathering or small, or even creating little gift treats for your friends and family, you can cut the fudge into whatever pieces you desire. I like to go with the 6x6 ratio for cutting them up since it leaves me room for other sweets too!

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups
white chocolate chips
- 1
(14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 Tbsp.
Marshmallow Fluff
- 2 Tbsp.
unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp.
vanilla bean paste or extract
- 1/2 tsp.
peppermint extract
Black, pink, yellow, and teal gel food coloring
Directions
- Step 1Line an 8" x 8" pan with 2 pieces of parchment that are 2" longer than the pan on all sides, arranging in the shape of a plus sign. A great (but optional) tip is to use binder clips to secure the overhang.
- Step 2In a medium pot over low heat, cook chips and milk, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Step 3Add Marshmallow Fluff, butter, vanilla bean paste, and peppermint extract and cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through and well combined, about 1 minute.
- Step 4Divide fudge among 4 medium bowls, about 1 c. per bowl. Add about 4 drops black gel food coloring to 1 bowl, and about 2 drops pink, yellow, and teal to remaining 3 bowls—1 color per bowl. Mix to combine, adding more food coloring until desired color is reached and working quickly so fudge doesn’t set too much.
- Step 5Drop a few spoonfuls of each colored fudge randomly into prepared pan. Swirl with a toothpick or paring knife so the colors intermingle. Refrigerate until set, at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
- Step 6Using parchment overhang, lift out fudge and transfer to a cutting board. Cut into squares.
