This salty-sweet cookie brittle is the perfect combination of a party snack platter. With crispchocolate chip cookie brittle, pretzels, crushed potato chips, and healthy drizzles of both caramel and chocolate, you’ll forget all about plain chocolate chip cookies in no time. If you just can't decide between sweet or salty, then this brittle is the perfect compromise that will keep you coming back for more (and more).
The best thing about this brittle? It's totally versatile. This combination nails the perfect balance of sweet and salty to me, but feel free to experiment with that you have on hand. Use a fun flavor of potato chips, opt for white chocolate chips, or break up the pretzels to play with the shapes.
Brittle is perfect for any time of year, but it makes for an especially great food gift or snack at your next holiday party. The brittle will last for up to 1 week when stored in an air-tight container at room temperature, though good luck keeping it around for that long!
