It’s time to make milk and cookies for the adults. That, of course, means that the cookie itself is a shot glass, and the milk is spiked with Baileys. To make these really simple I used a store-bought cookie dough, but if you want to make your own chocolate chip cookie dough, go for it. I also think these would be just as good with a peanut butter cookie, but you do you.
If you're celebrating or just feeling a little extra, dip the rim of the shots in additional chocolate and then in holiday sprinkles to make these super-fun!
The dough will puff up in the muffin tin as it bakes, so there’s no need to shape the dough to come up the sides. As soon as it comes out of the oven, press it down with a tablespoon, and that will create a perfect well to hold the Baileys. You can also use a greased shot glass to press the dough down. The chocolate shell makes the cookie even better after you take the shot to eat, and it also helps seal over any cracks the cookie might have.
The cookies can be made with the chocolate up to 2 days ahead, but wait to add the milk and Baileys until you’re ready to serve. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate.
