These shortbread bites are our favorite way to holiday. They're even easier to pull together than sugar cookies...but way more addicting.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups
all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp.
powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp.
kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp.
vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup
(1 stick) butter, softened
- 1 Tbsp.
red and green nonpareils or sprinkles
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 325º. In a food processor, pulse flour, sugar, salt, vanilla, and butter until combined. Transfer dough to a large bowl and knead until it comes together. Add nonpareils and knead to combine.
- Step 2On waxed paper, roll dough into a 1/2"-thick square. Freeze 15 minutes.
- Step 3Cut dough into 1/2" squares and transfer to a large baking sheet.
- Step 4Bake until cookies are golden, 18 to 20 minutes.
