Sorry, brownies—blondies just have more fun! That is especially true in this easy dessert, where classic blondies are loaded with not only chopped Oreos, but cookies and cream candy pieces. These dessert bars nail the perfect balance of being sweet and decadent without feeling overly rich (translation: you'll have a hard time stopping at just one). Ready in under an hour, these blondies are the dessert we turn to in the Delish test kitchen again and again.
We used Hershey's Cookies 'N' Cream Bars for the cookies and cream candy, but feel free to use any brand that's your favorite.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup
(1 1/2 sticks) melted butter
- 1 cup
(200 g.) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup
(100 g.) packed brown sugar
- 2
large eggs
- 1 tsp.
pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp.
kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp.
baking soda
- 2 1/4 cups
(270 g.) all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups
cookies & cream candies, such as Hershey's, chopped and divided
- 1 1/2 cups
Oreos, chopped and divided
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and line a 9"-x-13" pan with parchment, leaving a 2" overhang on all sides.
- Step 2In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat together melted butter and sugars until combined, then add eggs and vanilla and beat well, scraping down sides if necessary. Fold in baking soda and salt, then slowly add in flour, folding in until just combined. Fold in 1 cup each of chopped candies and chopped Oreos.
- Step 3Spread batter evenly into prepared pan and top with remaining candies and cookies.
- Step 4Bake blondies until the edges are just golden, 18-20 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely before slicing.
