Just like our classic stuffed peppers, stuffed spaghetti squash is one of our go-to dinners when we’re looking for something hearty, flavorful, and completely versatile. We have plenty of versions, but this Italian-style spaghetti squash is one of our favorites. Stuffed with crumbled Italian sausage, melty cheese, and a little tomato sauce, this squash has all the flavors we want in an Italian dinner.
The best thing about this cheap and easy dinner? It only requires 4-ingredients, and you can completely vary them based on what you’re craving. Grab your favorite store-bought tomato sauce or make our homemade spaghetti sauce, switch up the cheese with your favorite melty varieties, or swap out the Italian sausage with ground beef or ground turkey.
There are plenty of sides that would work perfectly with this stuffed squash, but we love serving it alongside our favorite side dishes for pasta. Garlic knots, honey-balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts, and Parmesan roasted green beans would all be perfect pairings here. Looking for the most basic version of spaghetti squash?
